From the G.S. - March 2025

Greetings everyone,

As we enter March, let us continue to lift one another up in prayer and remain faithful in the work the Lord has set before us.

First, I ask that we keep Pastor Ryan Hagen of North Moreland Church in our prayers. He is facing a serious health battle with clots in a vein on his brain and has a long journey of recovery ahead. We know that our God is a healer, and we trust in His sustaining grace. Please pray for his healing, for strength for his family, and for God’s peace to be upon them during this difficult time.

Continue to pray as well for Mt. Olivet Christian Baptist Church as they seek a pastor. The congregation is doing well, faithfully continuing services with alternating leadership, but they need the right shepherd in place. May the Lord provide in His perfect timing.

This past month, my family and I had the privilege of attending the North District Missionary Convention at Logan Christian Baptist Church. It was a blessed time of worship, fellowship, and the preaching of God’s Word. I had great liberty in the pulpit and was grateful for the hospitality of Pastor Scott Heskett and the congregation, who not only welcomed us with open arms but also provided a delicious meal. These gatherings remind us of the importance of standing together in the work of the Gospel.

We were also blessed to host the Sword family at our church recently, and they did a wonderful job ministering through song. Their spirit and talent were a great encouragement, and we are excited that they will be singing at Camp Meeting on Tuesday and Friday night. Be sure to mark your calendars and make plans to attend.

Speaking of Camp Meeting, it won’t be long before we start bringing the campgrounds out of winterization mode and preparing for the summer season. It takes many hands to get things ready, and I encourage anyone who is able to come out and help in the coming weeks. We want to ensure that our facilities are in top shape so that we can have another wonderful year of worship, preaching, and fellowship at camp.

We are also starting early with the 200 for $200 campaign. If you, your church, or anyone you know would like to meet the challenge and give, please let us know! If you can give more, we would love it! If you can only give some, that is greatly appreciated too—every bit helps. In fact, if just 40 households gave $1,000, we would meet our goal. There are many ways to meet this goal! We are working hard to establish the future of Camp Meeting for years to come, ensuring that this place of worship and renewal remains strong for future generations. It's an investment that pays spiritual dividends!

Finally, I’m excited to announce that we will be having a combined Easter service on Easter Sunday night at 6:00 PM. This will be a special time of worship as we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior together. Tyran Ellis will provide the special music, Chase Holbrook will bring the message, and I encourage everyone to come out and join us for this powerful evening of worship.

As we press forward, let us remain faithful to our calling. Pray for the lost, support one another, and stand firm in the faith. May God continue to bless each of you as we labor together for His Kingdom.

In Christ’s Service,

Jeremy Kamer

General Superintendent, Christian Baptist Association
